Erika Lapoint

Who am I ?, I'm still learning..Live in the Mountains, Love my Children, Lost my Mom, (who was from New York City but loved my Austrian Dad and the mountains more)..I am like her, I love where I live, my four brothers and sisters around me, and all my nieces and nephews around me as well.. Graduated from U.C .Santa Barbara,(didn't learn writing!), traveled in Europe, lived with my Oma in Austria, lived with a beautiful family in France..Came home and married a Waterskier!  I have two beautiful stepdaughters and a son and a daughter with my husband. I opened my own clothing business, and was successful for a time, lost it..lost along with that my confidence to do more and be me, but am getting that back!   I coach little kids on the Squaw Valley Ski Team in the winter..(Love it, and the kids!),  and am now working in Interior Design.

I am Passionate about Life, Work, People, Friends and Family...All of which I like to write about, especially to my children, (poems,stories,birthday songs).. I want to write about.. losing my mom.. fear of losing my dad.. finding a new way in life.... raising my children..and, well, cooking and creating!
